For as long as I can remember I´ve always been attracted by the artistic sense of things; by vivid colors, textures and patterns.

I didn't come to nature photography because of a family member or a professional dedication; but rather looking for a means of expression, like someone who starts painting, buys a canvas, a brush and some paints.

In my work I make use of color to suggest and excite. I try to bring contrasts to my photographs through color temperatures, exposure adjustments, and the changes of state that continually occur in nature.

In my photography, the natural scenery manifests itself as a whole or as one of its parts, that is to say, in its maximum amplitude or in the small details synthesizing the landscape and obtaining its most intimate and primary essence.

In the most open landscape I always look for the emotionality of the color and the atmospheres whether on the coast, in the mountains or in the forest. All this requires an extra effort to face the locations at their best time and in the best moments of light.

In my work the symbolic nuance is usually the protagonist. I am passionate about fragmenting the landscape in search of more intimate visions. I feel a special predilection for textures and visual rhythms.

Since 2021 I´m part of the authors that make up the photographic collective of nature photography, Portfolio Natural.

In 2022 I return to the nature photography association of Asturias AFONAS.
