Iñaki Bolumburu (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1978)

An engineer by profession, I came to photography from drawing, looking for something "more immediate" to portray the landscapes I saw. The truth is that I could not be more wrong and, over the years, what began as curiosity and hobby has been occupying much of my free time to become something more.

The fact that I live in Salvatierra/Agurain has been an advantage when it comes to being able to approach different and varied locations of our environment, highlighting in my gallery the landscapes of the Llanada, the Basque Coast and our nearest forests. Besides touring the nearest locations I try, as far as possible, to take advantage of the trips I make to capture other landscapes and other lights.

Throughout these years attached to a camera I have been lucky enough to share moments of light, laughter and photographic chats with many fellow photographers, including my friends from Canonikos and the A.C. Alavavisión, a photographic association of which I am a member.
